Like all ACME weapon trainers, our M60 systems feature high fidelity replica weapons, that are not firearms, and an integral suite of sensors backed by software logic. The training system includes our GAR® recoil system providing full-force recoil at full rate of fire.
ACME’s M60 Replica Weapon System is available in configurations such as infantry tripods, helicopter door and ramp guns, turret rings on wheeled or tracked vehicles, or deck-mounted ship and boat systems. Its versatility is key!
Options abound with the system such as foldable bipods, ring sights, replica laser illuminators, and replica ammunition canisters. On-site integration, training, and maintenance support options are available as are extended warranties.
M60 Weapon Facts
The popular 7.62mm light machine gun has served in all U.S. armed services and combat units across the globe. Initiated in the late 1940’s, the weapon is still in use today, Known for its mechanical simplicity, it’s adaptable to nearly any infantry, aviation, naval, and vehicle mounts and can be fired from fixed mount or shoulder, hip, and firing positions too. The gas-recoil weapon has large pistol-type grip and has a cyclic rate of fire at 500-650 rounds per minute and is fed by disintegrating belts of linked ammunition.
